Question :-

The distance around a field is 540 Vijay runs around the field 8 times in half an hour. What is his average speed in metre per second?

Answer :-

 \to \boxed{ \sf \: v = 2.4 \: \frac{m}{s} } \:

To Find :-

→ Average speed in metre per second.

Explanation :-

\bf{Given}\begin{cases}\sf{time(t) = 30 \: min \: }\\\sf{total \: distance = 8 \times 540 }\\ \sf{ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: =432 0 \: m} \\ \sf {average \: speed = .} \: \end{cases} \:

Solution :-

Firstly we have to convert time into seconds

 \to \sf t = 30 \: min \: = 30 \times 60 = 1800 \: s

We know that -

 \to  \boxed{\sf average \: speed(v) =  \frac{total \: distance}{total \: time} } \\  \\  \to \sf \: v =  \frac{\cancel{4320}}{\cancel{1800}}  \\  \\  \to \boxed{ \sf \: v = 2.4 \:  \frac{m}{s} }

hence, average speed is 2.4 metre per second .

Ans.

Given: time (v) = 30 minutes

Total distance = 540 × 8

= 4320

Total time = 30 × 60 seconds

= 3600 seconds

We know :

Average speed (v) =

total distance /total time

The average speed of Vijay

= 4320/3600

= 1.2 meter/second
