follow

Perimeter of the rectangular field= 400m

let breadth of the field= x

then length of the field= x+26

perimeter of the rectangular field=

2(length+breadth)

2(x+x+26)=400

2x+26= 200

2x= 174

x = 87

breadth = 87m

length=87+26=113m

ANSWER;

Distance of the field=400m=perimeter of the field

  lets assume that the breadth of the field is X

   and the length is 26+X

     so,

  perimeter of field= 2(L+B)

                             400=2( 26+X+X)

                             400=2(26+2X)

                              200=(26+2X)

                               200-26= 2X

                                 174=2X

                                  87=X

     THEN,

       the length of field =113

      and  the breadth of the field =87

HOPE IT HELPS.
