The distance around a rectangular field is 400m. The length of the field is 26th more than the breadth. Calculate the length and breadth of the rectangular field

Perimeter of rectangle = 400m

Breadth = x

Length = (26+x)

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

400 = 2( 26 + x +x)

400= 2 (26 +2x)

400 = 52 +4x

4x = 400-52

4x= 348

breadth= 87

length = x+26 = 87 +26 = 113
