they both ran for 8 rounds so we will just multiply with the distance of the ground 2450m×8=19600m (19.6km)

The distance around school = 2km 450m

Number of. rounds Kantaran runs = 3

Distance covered by Kantaran = 2km 450m × 3

= 7km 350m

Number of rounds Shantram ram runs = 5

Distance covered by Shantram = 2km 450m × 5

= 12km 250m

Distance covered by both = 7km 350m +

12km 250m

= 19km 600m

Therefore distance covered by both is 19km 600m.
