The distance between Chennai and Bangalore is 350 km. Starting from Chennai, a car took 7 hours to reach Bangalore and a superfast train took 5 hours to reach Bangalore. Compare the speed of the car and the train and tell which one is faster.

$speed = \frac{distance}{time}$

using the above formula

speed of car = 350/7

= 50 km/hr

speed of superfast train = 350/5

= 70 km/hr

on comparing we see the speed of bullet train is more by 20 km/hr
