Answer:

Given:

Speed of:

\implies A = 5 km/hr

\implies B = 3 km/hr

Acceleration of:

\implies B = 1.5 km/hr²

\implies A = 0

Now: \boxed{\sf{S_{A} + S_{B}=90}}

So we get:

\implies \sf{5t + 3t + \frac{1}{2} \times 1.5 \times t^{2} = 90}

That is:

\implies \sf{8t + 0.75= 90}

\implies \sf{0.75t^{2} + 8t - 90 = 0}

On solving this quadratic equation we get:

t = 6.85 sec
