Let the point be P

P = (x2 + x1)/2 , (y2 + y1)/2

Ramanan2018: I couldn’t complete it
Ramanan2018: Wait
Ramanan2018: Coordinates of origin (0,0)

Distance = √(x2-0) + (y2 - 0)

= √x2 + y2

x-axis coordinate = (x, 0)

origian= (0,0)

distance formula = √(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2

=√(x-0)^2-(0-0)^2

= √x^2

= x
