So the breadth of the plot = \sqrt{\text{(Distance between two opposite corners)}^2-\text{(Length)}^2}

= \sqrt{30^2-24^2} \ \ m

=\sqrt{900-576}  m

= \sqrt{324}  m

= 18 m
