distance \: formula \:  \\  \sqrt{(x2 - x1)^{2} +  {(y2 - y1)}^{2}  }  \\  x1 =  - 7   \\ x2 = 5 \\ y1 = 3 \\ y2 =  - 2 \\ hence \\  =  \sqrt{ {(5 - ( - 7))}^{2} + ( - 2 - 3)^{2}  }  \\   =   \sqrt{ {12}^{2}  +  {5}^{2} }  \\  =  \sqrt{144 + 25}  \\  =  \sqrt{169 }  \\ therfore \\  = 13
