➠D =  \sqrt{ {(x2 - x1)}^{2} +  {(y2 - y1)}^{2}  }

➠Here ;X1=-1 ,Y1=5 ,X2=7 & Y2=3

➠D =  \sqrt{ {(7 + 1)}^{2}  +  {(3 - 5)}^{2} }

➠D=  \sqrt{ {(8)}^{2} +   {( - 2)}^{2}  }

➠D =  \sqrt{64 + 4}  =  \sqrt{68}  = 2 \sqrt{17}

Hence, the distance between the points A(-1,5) & B(7,3) is 2√17✓
