Explanation,

Points are A(√5 + 1 , √3 - 1) & B(√5 - 2 , √3 + 2).

Where,

⇒ A(√5 - 1 , √3 - 1) = (x1 , y1)

⇒ B(√5 - 2 , √3 + 2) = (x2 , y2)

Applying distance formula,

d = √(x2 - x1)² + (y2 - y1)²

⇒ AB = √(√5 - 2 - (√5 - 1)² + (√3 + 2 - (√3 - 1)²

⇒ AB = √(√5 - 2 - √5 + 1)² + (√3 + 2 - √3 + 1)²

⇒ AB = √(-2 + 1)² + (2 + 1)²

⇒ AB = √(-1)² + (3)²

⇒ AB = √1 + 9

AB = 10 units

Hence,

The distance between A(√5+1,√3-1) and B(√5-2,√3+2) is √10 units.
