The distance between two cities is 600km a train travelled in 6hours calculate the speed

Given :-

  • Total distance = 600 km = 600 x 100 = 60000 m
  • Time taken = 6 hours = 60 x 60 = 3600 seconds

We know that,

speed \:  =  \frac{distance}{time}

Therefore,

speed \:  =  \frac{600}{6}  = 100km \: per \: hour

Or speed in m/s

 \sf \: speed \:  =  \frac{60000}{3600} =  \frac{50}{3}   = 50  m \:  per \: 3 \: second
