QUESTION: The distance between two city’s is 600 km a train leaves from one city to another at the speed of 80 km/h and another train leaves other other city for the city at the speed of 70 km/h if both trains start simultaneously at 6 AM when and where they will both at the trains meet?

SOLUTION: Time = Distance/Speed

Time=600-x/ 80 = x/70.

Time=70 x 600 - 70 = 80x

150x = 70x600/100

Time= 10am

1st train = 320 km

2nd train=280 km

1st train +2nd train = 600 km at 10am
