Given :

  • Distance between two stations is 500km.

  • A train covers this distance is about 10hrs.

To find :

  • The speed of the train.

Solution :

We know that,

 { \underline{ \boxed{\sf{speed \:  =  \frac{distance}{time} } }}} \\

Where,

Distance = 500 km.

Time = 10 hrs

Procedure :

Substituting the given values :

 \longrightarrow \sf speed  =  \frac{50 \cancel 0}{1 \cancel 0}  \\  \longrightarrow \sf speed  =  \frac{50}{1}  \\  \red {\therefore \sf speed = 50km</strong><strong>/</strong><strong>hrs</strong><strong> }

Hence,

Required answer :

Speed = 50km/hr.{\boxed{\checkmark}}
