Answer:

Here is ur answer buddy!!

Step-by-step explanation:

The distance between two stations a and b is 250km.

Two trains start simultaneously from a and b in opposite directions.

The distance between them after 5/2 hours is 25km

If the speed of one train is 10km/hr more than the other.

Required: The speed of each of the trains

Let the speed of  train from station A be x

Then the speed of other train from station B = x+10

Distance covered = speed *time

After 5/2 hrs the distance covered by trains will be x*5/2 and (x+10)*5/2  respectively

therefore,  x*5/2 + (x+10)*5/2 =250- 25

5x/2+ 5x/2 +25 =225

5x= 225-25 =200

5x=200

x= 200/5 =40 Km/h

Speed of second train originating from station B = 40 +10 = 50 Km /h

Thus, the speed of the trains are 40Km/h and 50Km/h respectively.
