The distance between two stations is 340 km. Two trains start simultaneously from these stations on parallel tracks to cross each other. The speed of one of them is greater than that of the other by 5 km/hr. If the distance between the two trains after 2 hours of their start is 30 km, find the speed of each train.

let the distance of one train (A) be 'x' kmph
then the speed of another train(B) = x+5 kmph
time given = 2 hours
distance between them after two hours= 30km
distance covered by train A after two hours = 2x. ( since distance = speed* time)
distance covered by train B after 2 hours = 2(x+5)=2x+10
distance between the trains after two hours= 30km
2x+10-x = 30
x = 20
speed of train A = 20kmph
speed of train B = 25 kmph
then the speed of another train(B) = x+5 kmph
time given = 2 hours
