the distance between two towns is 300 km two cars start from this towns and move towards each other the speed of one car is more than the other by 7 km per hour if the distance between the cars after 2 hours is 34 cm find the speed of the car

Distance between Two Towns=300 km

LET speed of one car=x km/h
Then speed of another car=(x+7)km/h

Distance=Speed× Time
Distance covered by one car in 2 hour
=2×x=2x km

Distance covered by other car in 2 hour
=2(x+7)=(2x+14) km

Distance Remain=34 km

300-[2x+(2x+14)]=34
300-[2x+2x+14]=34
300-2x-2x-14=34
300-4x-14=34
4x=300-34-14
4x=300-48
4x=252
x=252/4
x=63

Speed one car=63 km/h
Speed of another car=63+7=70 km/h
