"Basic formula used for calculation of time, distance and speed:

Speed= Distance/Time

Distance between Vijay’s home and school= 300m

Time taken by Vijay= 60 Sec

Speed of Vijay’s bicycle  = Distnace travelled by Vijay/ Time taken by Vijay to reach school

  =300/60

 =5 meter/sec

Solution: Vijay rides his bicycle at speed of 5m/sec to reach to his school from his home.

We have,

s = 300 m

t = 60 sec

A/q,

\textbf{speed = distance / time  }

= 300 / 60

= 5 m / s
