the distance between X and Y is 100km. Ekansh starts from X to Y at 6 am and reaches Y at 11 am. Girish Starts from Y at 8 am and reaches X at 12pm.Find the time in which they will mmet each other. (please explain)

we know T= D/S...so for ekansh ...(11-6)= 100/s1 ... and for Girish (12-8)=100/s2.implies
s1=20 and s2=25
now relative time = relative distance / relative speed
so T =(D/2) / (s1+s2)= 50/(20+25)=10/9 hrs ..since relative distance equals to dist/2 and here both are going to opposite direction so relative speed is addition of both speed ...means s1+s2 =45
now since Girish starts later at 8 am so after 8 am they will meet ...hence they will meet at 8+(10/9) hrs = 9 hrs (20/3) mnts
