"Answer:

Distance need to travel to win the race is 1km

On converting the kilometer to meter, we get 1000 meters.

The distance between the A and B when the race gets completed is 40m. ---> (1)

The distance between the A and C when the race gets complete is 70m.  ----> (2)

From (1) and (2), We can find the distance between C from B.

C from B = 70 -40 = 30m ( behind the B)

So, B wins the race is the right answer. B wine by 30meters."
