the distance d travelled by a ball dropped from a aeroplane is directly proportional to the square of time T given that equal to 2 seconds and equal to 24 M find the distance the ball drops in 10 seconds with full solution please

As it is given D is directelt propotionl to T^2 i.e.

D=k* T^2 where k is any constant so

at 2 seconds it cover 24metre

24=k* 2^2

so k=24/4=6m

so at 10 seconds

Dn=Distance travelled in 10 secs=k *T'^2

where T'=10secs

so D' = 6m * 10^2

D' = 600m
