The distance from January to December is of 12 months but from December to January is of only 31days. why??

HEY , JANUARY TO DECEMBER ACCORDING TO YOU U R COMPARING YEAR WISE THAT'S WHY IT IS 12 MONTHS AS THE DIFFERENCE.
