Given:-

  • Height of Parallelogram ,h = 14 cm

  • Base of Parallelogram ,b = 16cm

To Find:-

  • Area of Parallelogram ,A

Solution:-

We have to calculate the area of Parallelogram .

Using Formula

Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height

Substitute the value we get

Area of Parallelogram = 14 × 16

Area of Parallelogram = 224 cm²

Therefore, the area of Parallelogram is 224 cm²

Some Additional Formula !!

• Area of Square = Side × Side

• Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

• Area of Rhombus = 1/2 × d1 × d2

here

d1 is the 1st diagonal of Rhombus

d2 is the second diagonal of Rhombus

• Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height

• Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side

• Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 (Length + Breadth)

• Area of Triangle = 1/2 × base × height

• Perimeter of triangle = Sum if their sides

• Circumference of Circle = 2πr

where,

π = 22/7

r is the radius of Circle

Answer:

Given :-

  • Length of parallelogram = 14 cm
  • Base of parallelogram = 16 cm

To Find :-

Area of parallelogram

Solution :-

As we know that area of parallelogram

  \huge\bf \: Area \:  = l \times b

Here,

L = Length

B = Breadth

 \sf \: Area \:  = 14 \times 16

 \sf \: Area \:  = 226 {cm}^{2}

Learn More

  • Area of rectangle = l × b
  • Side of square = perimeter ÷ 4
  • Perimeter of square = 4 × side
  • Area of square = Side ²
  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

Parallelogram

A parallelogram is a 2D figure which has length and width.

It has equal opposite sides.
