The distance of image formed by human eye lens is the same for different position of the object.why?

This happens because of the power of accomodation of our eyes provided by the ciliary muscles.They relax and contract as per the disatance of the image.If the distance is far the muscles relax and if the distance is close the muscles contract.This leads to the formation of image at the back of our head at a particular point.
