The distance between two points (x1,y1) and (x2, y2) is,

 \sqrt{ {(x2 - x1) }^{2}  +  {(y2 - y1)}^{2} }
Now according to the question The first point is P(6,8) and another is origin,

We know that coordinates of origin is (0,0),

Now substitute those values in the above formula, You can take either one of those as first point, I am taking (6,8) as first point,

=> √((0-6)²+(0-8)²) is the distance between them,

=> √(36+64),
=> √100,
=> 10,

Therefore the distance between them is 10 units,

Hope you understand,

Have a great day !!!
