Given that,

The distance of the galaxy from earth is, d=5.6\times 10^{25}\ m

Speed of light, v=3\times 10^8\ m/s

To find,

The time taken by light to travel this distance.

Solution,

The formula of speed of an object is given by total distance divided by total time taken. So,

v=\dfrac{d}{t}

t is time taken by light to travel this distance

t=\dfrac{d}{v}\\\\t=\dfrac{5.6\times 10^{25}}{3\times 10^8}\\\\t=1.87\times 10^{17}\ s

So, the time taken by light to travel this distance is  1.87\times 10^{17}\ s.
