 <b> Answer

The value of x is -1

The value of y is 1

12x - 5y + 9 = 0

by putting the value of both x and y, we get

12(-1) - 5(1) + 9 = 0

or, -12 - 5 + 9 = 0

or, -12 + 4 = 0

or, -8 .

The distance of the point (-1, 1) from the line 12x - 5y + 9 = 0.
