Distance round the rectangular cafe = 35 cm

Ratio of length to width = 3:2

Let x be the common multiple

→ Let the length of the cafe be 3x  & → Let the width of the cafe be 2x

→ Perimeter is given as 35 cm

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth)

→ Substituting the given datas we get,

 2 ( 3x + 2x ) = 35

  SIMPLIFYING, WE GET x = 3.5

→ Length = 3x = 3 × 3.5 = 10.5 cm

→ Breadth = 2x = 2 × 3.5 = 7 cm
