Physics, asked by kanilsharmaks, 1 year ago

the distance (s) travelled by a body in time (t) is given by S=ut+1/2a*t^2
How is the formula modified when (1)body starts from rest (2) motion of the body unifrorm

jossie: (1) when body starts from rest u=0.
jossie: so the eqn becomes s=1/2at^2...(2) when the motion of the body is uniform, acclrtn=0. ie, a=0. thrfore the eqn becomes s=ut..
kanilsharmaks: thanx a lot for the answer :)
jossie: :)

(1) when body starts from rest u=0. (2) when motion is uniform a=0 so the formula become s= ut
