Find - Speed of the body by studying the graph.

Solution - To find the speed in graph the formula to be used is - speed = ∆distance/∆time.

Let D1 be initial distance and D2 be final distance. Let T1 be intial time and T2 be final time.

Taking D1 - 20 metre and D2 - 30 metre. Taking T1 - 10 second and T2 - 15 seconds.

Now keeping the values in equation-

speed = D2 - D1 /(T2 - T1 )

speed = 30-20/(15-10)

speed = 10/5

speed = 2 m/s

Hence, constant speed according to graph is 2 m/s.
