The distance-time graph of an object is a straight line perpendicular to the distance axis. What does this graph tell us about the motion of the object? Indicate your observation by graphical representation

This tells about the motion of the object that:

• The distance of the body does not change as time passes.

• The body as zero velocity as the change in distance with change in time is zero.

• The body is at rest in the chosen frame of reference. Though if another frame of reference that is non inertial which is in motion with respect to this frame of reference is considered, the body will also appear to move.
