A = the angle of inclination i.e the angle formed between slope and x axis

Maximum velocity between 1s to 4s

= tan A

= 16m/4s

= 4m/s

Maximum velocity between 4s to 8s

= 0

because there is no inclination

Maximum velocity between 8s to 14s

= tan A'

= 12m/6s

= 2m/s

Average velocity = 28/14

= 2m/s
