Given,

The distance traveled by an object in time (100 ± 1) s is (5.2 ± 0.1) m.

Distance = 5.2 ± 0. 1 m

Time = 100 ± 1 seconds

Speed = distance / time = 5. 2 / 100 = 0.052 m/s

Now, To calculate error,

% Error in Speed = % Error in Distance - % Error in time

% Error in distance = 0.1 / 5.2 * 100 = 1.92 %

% Error in time = 1 %

% Error in Speed = 1.92 - 1 = 0.92%

Therefore, The speed of the body is 0.052 m/s and Error is 0.92%.
