distance (a) = 5.2 ± 0.1 m

time (b) = 100 ± 1 sec

let speed be c

so \: c =  \frac{a}{b}

here \\ inaccurate \: speed \:  =  \frac{inaccurate \: distance}{inaccurate \: time}

 c_{inaccurate} =  \frac{5.2}{100}   \\  c_{inaccurate} = 0.052 \: m {s}^{ - 1}

now,

we know that,

(∆c/c) = (∆a/a) + (∆b/b)

(∆c/c) = (0.1/5.2) + (1/100)

(∆c/c) = (0.019) + (0.01)

(∆c/c) ≈ 0.029

Hence, the speed is 0.052 m/s and the error in it is 0.029.
