It is clear from the graph that in India 80 percent of farmers have less than 2 hectares of land. These farmers cultivate only 36 percent of the total cultivated area. Contrary to it, 20 percent of the farmers have more than 2 hectare of land and having 64 percent of the total cultivated area.
