Surface water and underground water are important sources of water in our country.
Although this water resources distribution are not similar throughout the whole land territory of our country.
For example, the northern and eastern states are fulfilled with surface water resources, due to the major river flows.
The southern part of the India is also fulfilled with underground water due to the extensive amount of rainfall per annum.
But in eastern state like the Rajasthan, has no major river flows or efficient amount of rainfall per year.
In this way surface water and underground water distribution is not even in the whole Indian land territory.
