Whenever anyone trued to talk to him, he only said humph and that’s what he said when the djinn ordered him to work. For which he later got the punishment and punishment was that his back puffed up and formed a humph so that he could store food in it for the 3 day he skipped and work and again work for 3 days without wasting a second of it.

Hope it helps you, have a nice day.

Answer:

Camel did not feel any remorse for losing his beautiful back and getting a humph as a burden.

Explanation:

  • The story is about "How Camel Got His Hump"
  • The story began with the world where animals started helping humans.
  • In the morning horse went to the camel and told him to come out and help, but he said "Humph" in his reply.
  • The horse told this incident to the human, sometime later dog went to the camel and called him, camel again gave the same reply.
  • Later ox went to the camel and returned with the same reply from the camel.
  • Man learnt about the incident that happened with the dog and ox.
  • The man punished the horse, ox and dog, then these all went to the Djinn.
  • After hearing the camel's behaviour, Djinn went to the camel and give him the humph as his punishment.
