The dogs at my place don't give a shít to my dear Charlie. I feel like he's so stressed out. He's a golden retriever. What if i shave him something into a lion? Will the other dogs respect him more? Will it be okay to do so? Atleast he'll have some respect in his dog society lately.

Answer:

uh..well, That's sad :( . your Idea of "turning him into a lion, by giving him a special haircut" isn't really bad, but no one would ever want to come near him! Of course, your Parents and family know that he is a dog, but what about the outsiders? or the other dogs? they'll be afraid to even come near Him. And won't know that it's the same Charlie.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (no, your Idea isn't bad at all! what creativity you got there!) so, the things you could do are:-

  • try asking Charlie to befriend The other Dogs at your place.
  • You cannot Turn him into a lion! but can propably Train Him to Deal with the other dogs..
  • Calm him Down, This is the main part. Calm him down when he's Stresses out.
  • also..(if you want to) you can keep him away from the dogs..
  • You can..ask the Other Dog's Owners to Teach them to respect Charlie Better. after all everything Needs to be done from their Side.
  • If these all don't help. Maybe Your Idea is Worth Trying. Really I mean it.! it may help you.

Heres your answer Take care stay safe UwU

Explanation:

No, they won't respect him any more for looking like a lion. Nor will they disrespect him because I honestly think it depends on if the dogs like your dog or not, Dogs pick up on a variety of clues, including smells and body language, some of which they may not like. Another factor may be past experience. If your dog has had a negative experience with a large fluffy dog in the past, aggression or fear may arise around all other large fluffy dogs. Aggression between unfamiliar dogs can be due to fear, poor communication, defensive, possessive behavior over resources (including perhaps family members or other pets) or territorial behavior over territory or owner. Aggression between dogs can result in injury to dogs and/or to the people trying to separate them.
