Answer :-

Cost = ₹ 140

Given :-

p = 2kwh

t = 1 h

Number of days = 60

Cost of electrical energy consumed = ₹2 / kwh.

To find :-

The cost of using the emersion rod.

Solution:-

The electrical energy consumed by emersion rod is given by :-

 \huge \boxed{E = p t n }

Put the given values ,

 E = 2 \times 1 \times 60

 E = 120 kwh

Now,

The electrical consumed by emersion rod is 120 kwh.

1 kwh cost ₹ 2

120 kwh cost = 120 × 2

= ₹140

hence,

The cost of electrical energy consumed by emersion rod is ₹140.
