the bell rang loudly
it is transitive
we know if the sentence can give the answer of what and whom then it is transitive
in the question
if we question what rang?
it gives answer bell rang.
so it is transitive

ana205: like.. 'the boy kicked the football' so her is a question after the verb 'kicked'... the boy kicked what? i can answer 'the football' so explain this
Niroj1: is this transitive or intransative
ana205: this is transitive............
Niroj1: s yes
Niroj1: you found the answer of 'kicked what' in the question that is football
Niroj1: like I am dancing is a intransitive because you can't find answer for what dancing and whom dancing
Niroj1: it's OK now
Niroj1: if still confusion. u can ask it
ana205: yeah....all clear ! thanks alot
Niroj1: ok
