We can solve this question using relative motion

Let the train A move at 25m/s and train B at 15m/s

Then the relative velocity of train A wrt B will be 25-15=10m/s

Using  v^{2}=u^{2}+2as

and by apply the initial velocity u as 10 and final velocity v as 0 and a as -1

Thus by substituting the valuse we get the distance s as 50 m
