Duration of electricity consumed by farmer for his pump set on Monday and Tuesday will be

     7 hrs  20 min  35 secs

      3 hrs  44 min  50 secs  

   Adding both we get

      10 hrs  64 min  85 secs

    We know that 1 min = 60 secs

                         1 hr = 60 min

       Now we have 10 hrs  64 min  85 secs

         Now 85 – 60 = 25 secs

So we need to add 1 to 65, so it will be 64 + 1 = 65

So 65 – 60 = 5 min

Since 65 - 60 is subtracted add 10 + 1 hr

so 10 + 1 = 11 hrs.

So we get the total duration of consumption of electricity.
