There is a formula that says the area of a triangle is one half the product of the sine of an angle and the two sides that form the angle.

Area = (1/2)bc Sin A

Area = (1/2)(10)(10) Sin 45°

Area = 50 x (sqrrt2/2)

Area = 25 sqrrt(2), or approximately 35.36 cm^2
