The earliest descriptions of the Bakhtiyar Khilji's invasion of Bihar is mentioned in Tabakat-i-Nasiri of Minhaj-i-Siraj.

Bhaktiyar Khilji was a military General of Qutub-ud-Din Aibak. He subjugated the region of Bihar in 1200 AD. Tabakat-i-Nasiri mentions his invasions of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa. The book mentions the destruction of Buddhist monasteries by Bhakhtiyar Khilji during his invasion of Bihar.

The earliest descriptions of the bakhtiyar khilji invasion of bihar is in Tabaqat-i Nasiri.

The elaborate history was written by Minhaj-i-Siraj.

According to this source book Bakhtiyar Khalji suddenly planned and attacked Bihar’s fort with his two hundred horsemen.

After capturing the place, the Brahmans (they made 50-60% of the total population of Bihar) had their heads shaven and were killed eventually.
