The earth and the moon are attracted to each other bygravitational force. Does the earth attract the moon with a forcethat is greater or smaller or the same as the force with whichthe moon attracts the earth? Why?

both attract each other with same force as according to the formula for gravitational force

F = GMm/d^2
as the no.s are constant for both the moon or earth

We learned that every action has equal and opposite reaction (Newton third law) since earth is exerting force on moon the same force moon is also exerting on Earth...actually earth attracts moons that's why moon revolve in earth orbit ..MOON DOESN'T ATTRACT EARTH BECUASE MASS OF EARTH IS MORE THAN MOON ...
