Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Well(cylinder) Embankment(ring)

d = 2m w = 2m

r = 1m h2 = ?

h1 = 20m r = 1m

R = (1+4) m

= 5m

Since,

Volume of = Volume of the earth

embankment dugout

π×(R^2-r^2)×h2 = π×r^2×h1

[(5) ^2-(1) ^2]×h2= 1×1×20

(25-1) ×h2 = 20

24×h2 = 20

h2 = 20/24

h2 = 5/6m

Therefore,

The length of the embankment = 5/6 The cost digging @ of ₹25 = π×r^2×h1×25

= 3.14×1×1×20×25

= 3.14×20×25

= 3.14×500

= 1570.00

Cost of digging = ₹1570
