Earthquake is a natural disaster which cannot be stopped however we can follow some measures to lessen the destruction of an earthquake:-

a) dams should be built with better quality ingredients to avoid destruction

b) a disater planning can be done in areas which are prone to Earthquake

c) not building houses in slopy areas

d) houses should be built with mordern springy mech architecture
