1. three fourth of Earth's surface is covered with water but there is still 2.5 % of water is fresh and rest of the water is salty so we cannot drink it and it is in large quantity and it is too difficult to make it fresh.

2. another reason is because because water has a more nutrients so it is still scarcity of water across the globe.

3. out of 2.5 % of freshwater one percent is in the form of ice and snow at glaciers and mountains

4. also people waste water and overuse which causes car city of water.
