Hdy Friends here is the best answer of your question ______________^^^^^^^_______________

There is no count of lines of longitudes. It’s possible to have as many as you care to draw. So if they are (say) at 5 degree intervals, there will be 72 of them. If at one degree intervals, there will be 360 and so on.

In any event, all lines of longitude will face the Sun every 24 hours.

Perhaps you are thinking of latitude. Due to the Earth’s title, depending on the season, parts of the area around the North pole or the South pole will not “see” the sun at all during their respective winter solstice. These are called the Arctic and Antarctic circle, and are at 66 and a half degrees north and south respectively (they also move around a little). However, again it makes sense to count them as there is no fixed number of lines of latitude.

Then again, perhaps you are thinking of the latitude at which the Sun can be directly overhead in the day at some point in the year. The northern and southern limits of that during the year are called the tropic of Cancer and Capricorn respectively at about 23 and a half degrees north and south of the equator. Again it makes no sense to count them.

All lines of longitude cross all four of these lines of latitude.

However, again I have to repeat, there is no count of the number of longitudes or latitudes, just the number of subdivisions that we care to divide them into.........

Hope it will help you-------------------------------
