The east coast is more often affected than the west coast due to low pressure from Bay of Bengal . Why is it so ? Does geographical area of the sea has anything to do with this ?​

yes , mate it has to do with geography ..... see the winds which originates from rajasthan . formally called loo flows from the desert area to the great plains of india...... and where is great plains of india . yup it is the north eastern side of bengal and when the hot winds flow through the bay of bengal it creates low pressure .... the low pressure has all to do with physics . you see that hot air rises and flow to other areas ... that's why it creates low pressure
